Note:  We should understand that God raised the Prophets at a time when Kings and Priests equally became away from God and started ministering according to their own thinking.

The Old Testament prophetical books are mainly divided as Major Prophets and Minor Prophets.

Major Prophets – Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel

Minor Prophets – Hosea to Malachi (12 books)

They are all powerful and big prophets but they are classified as small only because of the size of their books.

The duties of prophets and priests are written in the book of Deuteronomy.

The prophets part is written in – Deut 18:20-22

>> Then people discern them as false prophets, lots in the bible.

>> All started with the calling and anointment, but later tried to make people happy and the spirit of the Lord left them.

Eg: Balaam(prophet) told false prophecy -  for gifts from the gentile king

>> Lord has also made it clear about his coming through many of His old testament prophets.

>> in chapt 6 – about his sanctification to receive the deep mysteries of prophetic word. He was a prophet before also but now to reveal Jesus, he is further being sanctified by God.

>> About the fullness of the spirit of God – Ish 11:2

>> About Lucipher – Ish chapt 14

>> About his sons – Chapter 7 and 8 (Shear-Jashub(a remnant will return) and Maher-shalal-hash-baz)

>> Ish 34:16  - Search from the book of the LORD, and read: Not one of these shall fail; Not one shall lack her mate. For My mouth has commanded it, and His Spirit has gathered them.

Verse 2- Lord’s complaint against Judah

From hear on we see that God is going to judge. Lord has lovingly and faithfully brought up-nourished His beloved children and they have rebelled against me.

Verse 3- My people dont know their master(don’t want to know)

Even animals know and recognize – we don’t want to know and we are not able to really understand the plan of God for us.

>> Whenever they back slide, they become slaves to neighboring gentiles (the powers of darkness of that place).

Now they are in the clutches of Assyria -

Verse 6- No sanctification – No examining, No correction - they are going as they feel right.

>> Unless the puss goes out- No healing

No victory – No authority over devil

Not able to fulfill the ministry (duty) that Lord has entrusted us.

Verse 8 – God is comparing Israel with Sodom and Gomorrah (continuing in disobedience without any fear)

Verse 10- Actually Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed in Genesis chapter 19 (long back) – Now it is the Dead Sea.

Verses 11-16- All these – gatherings – offerings – lifting hands and praising Him – all these God asked us to do – he wants it – but Lord will not accept anything from anyone who is not fully obedient.

>> Again read verses 12 & 13 – I can tolerate sin & holy meetings (all programs in order) Also read Amos 5:21

14 – At those days – Sabbath and feasts were there – But God hates your appointed ministries and practices.

16 -  1 Thess 4:3 - For this is the will of God, your sanctification

>> If God is a Holy God and if He dwells in Holiness – a person can only come near God through Holiness and enter into His rest (our eternal home) through Holiness.

His eyes like Flame of fire

His feet like fine brass (hot orange)

Out of His mouth sharp two edged sword

His countenance like the sun shining in its best.

Now not reflecting the image which is to be reflected (as in a mirrior)

Verse 27- God is going to make us turn back – by judgment

If we obey – then righteousness of the Lord will be upon us.

Verse 28- They that forget (the calling) and forsake (the calling of God) the Lord shall be consumed (among Judah)

These words of Judgment are repeated in Jeremiah and Ezekiel

Verses 29- Again judgment to Judah – Whatever garden or oak – it shall be dry and consumed, all of your ways will be burned together – and no one will save you from the hands of the Lord.

>> Ish 31:3 - Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; And their horses are flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD stretches out His hand, Both he who helps will fall, And he who is helped will fall down; They all will perish together.

Verses 16-26- Their men became unholy(not bothering about what Lord says – not fearing the Lord) – but here we see –

as men heard their family’s counsel instead of the Lord’s - God is going to punish the women and family for that. God judges rightly – he is righteous – then why.

>> Their family is arrogant and haughty with what they have in this world – that also which they have received from the Lord.

Outstretched necks – arrogant

17 – Lord will strike you with a scab (skin disease) – you will be ugly

Lord will uncover their secret parts – will make you ashamed – all your unfaithfulness will be brought to light (many times the Lord will warn) – If the Lord has called you – then he will bring it to light – before that reconcile in the presence of the Lord.

18 – Crescents – moon shaped ornament which the Ishmaelites used – Judges 8:21,24,26 – crescent shaped ornaments on them and their camels.

19-23 – All the other decoration (for attraction) and ornaments

Verse 24 - after all these adorning and lifting your glory and honor – Lord says Instead of a sweet smell – a rotten smell will come – everyone will make fun of you and run away from you.

Instead of hair – I will give you baldness

Instead of beauty – blackish

Verses 25 & 26 - Their trust and protection – their husbands and the mighty ones – Lord will kill by sword. They will only have time to weep and mourn (Lord is telling this) – God will increase their pain and problem – because they were disobedient to the counsel of God.

Chapter - 4

Smallest chapter in Isaiah

Verse 1- continuation  - when the war kills their husbands – all their trust will go, women cannot be a wife – then shameful – so 7 women will have a husband – just for namesake.

>> Look how  God created man and women and the creation has become just the opposite.

Here also it’s a continuation of the condition of Israel – a song followed by 7 curses

Verses 1-7- It’s a wonderful song.

>> My Well Beloved – is Jesus Christ

Vineyard is the house of Israel (the spiritual family) – many verses in the Bible.

>> It’s a fruitful hill, its not the problem of the nourishment (all needed is provided on time), but the problem is with the vineyard (the people of God)

Verse 2- All what God did for us – and Lord was patiently waiting every moment for us.

>> But we brought only wild fruit (poisonous ones)

>> John 15: 2, 6 - Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away......... and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

Verse 4 - Again the Lord says – what more should I do – means  - I have done everything they need to bear fruit

>>  They beared fruits but wild fruits (poisonous) – not from the Lord, then from whom – the deceiver.

Who wants wild fruits – even the devil doesn’t want – you will be cursed and the deceiver will laugh.

Verses 5 & 6 – Now what God is going to do to his unfaithful and disobedient vineyard.

** The same Lord who planted the best wine – will trample the disobedient and unfaithful.

Then Lord looked for righteousness but saw a cry for help (because now they are in wrong custody)

Verse 8 – WOE -  Their greediness – They want more. I need more and more, let others have none, let them become small.

But don’t forget – there are faithful children of God who look at Lord only and do only what Lord allows. You are making them small and with an arrogant life hurting others – That is when Lord will act righteously – Lord says – woe unto them.

Ψ Wherever the Lord wants a change in our life – we should – never wait till his wrath comes upon you

Ψ Obey the Lord – obey him only – when he says – Let it be so – that’s all

Also read verses 26 - 29

Verse 30- When Lord forsakes a person or a family or a land – they will be under curse of the Lord – till they cry and repent where they have gone wrong

Lord doesn’t want to beat us – or curse us – He wants to love us – honor us and bless us.

Chapter – 6

When King Uzziah died, Lord revealed his greatness and glory to prophet Isaiah. Isaiah was a prophet in the term of four kings (Ish 1:1), but deeper revelations started when Uzziah the king of Judah (also once anointed) died.

>> When he was with this king, maybe he had to please the king also, but now Lord is touching him and guiding him through a deeper phase of ministry (a time when he stays according to Lords calling – to only please God and follow His counsel completely)

Only when the hindrances (Uziah’s – veils) leave us – Can we see the glory of God

>> from verse 9 onwards – what God is going to do to others.

>> Look at the faithful prophets of God – only telling what the Lord gave them – Jerem 1,  Ezek 1,  Dan 10:1, Rev 1:1,2 (John saw the vision of God)

Verse 1- I saw the throne of God, the  glory of the robe (glory of God) filled the whole temple

·        HIGH and LIFTED UP – you can see the heavenly glory only if you set the minds on the things above (Col 3:1,2)

>> He dwells in all glory

>> Apostle John saw and described that vision from (Patmos) amidst unbearable situation

>> Those who have seen the glory of the Lord will never keep quiet – they will keep testifying and describing what you have personally seen and experienced. As the disciples said – we have seen the glory of God – how can we keep quiet – even if everyone tells – we will witness what we have seen.

If you try to describe what others have seen – there is no effect or power in it.

You are keeping quiet and not bothered – about the glory of God – because you have not personally experienced it –

Let us pray to the Lord – Lord sanctify me, so that I can personally see the glory of God. May the Lord sanctify our eyes, our heart and mind, our mouth and our life – because this Glory is the glory of the Holy of the Holies.

(Eg: You know about dogs, those dogs who see the thief keep on barking, those who just hear other dogs bark stop barking.)

>> Peter and other apostles say – We are witnesses of the glory of God – how can we keep quiet – we will keep on witnessing. (Otherwise it will be boring for you after sometime)

– you will surely describe it.

>> Ish 44:18,  John 12:40,  Heb 3:8, 13

>> This has been satans trick from the beginning – to make Lord children lose their sonship and all heavenly promises (by showing some shining things of this world)

>> But a man of God – without any comprise have to stand for God – if others like it or not, if they isolate you or oppose you – don’t bother –

Verse 11 – Till they become desolate, and their areas vacant,

the hand of the Lord will be against them.

 Chapter – 7

This chapter contains the clear prophecy about the birth of Christ and that Assyria is going to attack you and capture you (Lord is going to do it)

Verse 1-  Two kings Rezin (Syria) and Pekah (Israel) went to Jerusalem (Judae) to have war with them but could not win.

Uzziah >> Jotham (16 years – 2 King 15:32-34 - ) >> Ahaz (2 King16:2)

>> Ahaz (King of Judah)was twenty years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem; and he did not do what was right in the sight of the LORD his God, as his father David had done

Verse 2- When Ahaz heard that both the kings are coming for war – his heart was moved as the trees or the tree moved (didn’t know what to do)

Verse 3- Isaiah and his son Shear-Jashub (meaning - a remnant will return), Lord told them to go and meet the king at a specific spot, so much detail about the place. The revelation of Isaiah was great.

>> That long name proves his dedication – each time he called his son – he was reminded of his calling

>> Second sons (Maher shalal hash baz) name in Ish 8:1

Verses 4-9 – After all the prophecy of victory

Lord told a condition – If you will not believe – surely you shall not be established.

Gen 18:8 – Abraham gave plenty of Milk and Butter

>> In Hebrew – this verse says – He will eat curd and honey till his teenage

·        until he knows to chose between good and evil

·        till His ministry starts

>> He ate curd and honey to prove that he came to this world as a complete man.

>> He had an ordinary birth, diet and growth – Luke 11:27 – Blessed is the womb and breast that gave Him milk

>> He suffered all pain and humiliation, all tension that his heart and body couldn’t bear, even hunger, thirst and sorrow, also tempted (Heb 4:15) - For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

Verses 16 & 17 –  Following verses we see – it as a prophecy both about the kingdom of Ahaz and also what Israel is going to go through in the 7 year tribulation period.

>> Ahaz and Israel(because Ahaz guided them) didn’t believe so they had to be slaves to gentiles – how painful

>> When gentiles ask – where is your God – what will you reply – nothing – only ashamed because Lord warned you many times – it all happened because of your disobedience and lack of the fear of God.

Chapter – 8

God is again giving a chance to Ahaz, from chapters 7-12, but Ahaz, without the fear of the Lord, is trusting on himself, he and his people are being very worldly, they dont want to repent and turn back.

Verse 1- Isaiah’s second son was named Maher-shalal-hash-baz after Lord spoke to him to write down his name (which is also what Lord is going to do in Israel)

Their whole family took pain and strain to reveal the message of the Lord which Lord wanted to convey to the people of Israel.

Verse 4- Before this child starts crying or calling appa or amma, …………….

The riches of Assyria (Damascus and Syria) will be taken away.

Verses 5-7 – Because Israel has refused the waters of Shiloah which flow softly

Therefore in verse 7, Lord says – in their life now it will be mighty and uncontrollable flood like river (In Heb – Euphrates)

>> Which means the peaceful life of Israel God will take away, and instead like a flood which overflows in Israel, Assyria is going to come and take away their rule, power, freedom and peace.

>> 2 kings chapters 16 & 17 – Assyria invaded Israel

>> Verse 8 – Judah also invaded

Verses 13 & 14 – If your fear the Lord and obey His voice, he will be your savior and deliverer but otherwise he will lock you up in a corner (as a snare and trap)

Verse 19 – Praying to the Dead – a worldly custom

Now the Assyrians will say to ask the worldly spirits counsel – for future and in everything (that’s how the world does) – maybe they don’t feel it wrong

(As men rejoice when they divide the spoil – that great joy and experience

Maher-shalal-hash-baz and Shear-yashub)

Verses 6 – The synonyms about Jesus

He is Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of peace

>> Mighty God – Even today its hard for people to believe that our Lord is Almighty – everything possible, so trust in Him only.

>> Rev 12:7-9 - but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer.

Verses 13-14 – What is the great sin which made this heavenly being kicked out of God’s presence.

>> Lucipher says that “I” (5 times) – will do – against God’s will.

>> His desire was the problem (evil – which we are not allowed)

>> Even if God has given you a free will, or some authorities, it doesn’t mean you can do whatever comes into your mind, God has given all his creation, a law and its limits, you cannot cross the border.

>> When Lord says No – He means it – It’s the Ultimate word – That’s all.

Verses 15-17 – Lucipher and Anti-Christ will be ashamed – Every one will ask – Is this the man who made the earth tremble.

Verses 22 & 23 – Now itself Babylon (Iraq and Iran) is destroyed, but still god is going to completely destroy the Babylon (Mother of Harlots – Rev 17:5)

>> It need not be present Iraq and Iran, it can also be the present country like United States where its full of all kinds of immorality.

>> Just like the Jesus, was not born as a king, even though he is the king of the whole world, he was born in a carpenters house.

Verse 28- After the death of Ahaz, God judged Philistia.

>> Till then, because of the life of Ahaz, Israel had to suffer the attack from Philistia always.  God gives rod to our enemies to beat us, if we are unfaithful. (as in Ish 10:5,6)

>> This Philistia was defeated by Israel in the time of Uzziah (30 years back – written in 2 Kings 15 and 2 Chronicles 26)

Angels (Greek) - ANGELOS - meaning Messenger

A ROARING LION - 1 Peter 5:8

>> In the end time  - satan influences with different teachings - 1 Tim 4:1-5, also in Revelation (with the false teachings of Nicholas and Balaam)

>> then through false prophets

>> blinds understanding - 2Cor 4:4

Chapter – 15

Till now we studied about the burden against Babylon,

Now Chapters 15 and 16 – burden against Moab

Chapters 17 and 18 – burden against Damascus (Syria or Aram), Ethiopia and Ephraim

Moab – was a great land at that time

But in front of God – Moab was a product of filthy adultery – the generation of Lot whom he had through his elder daughter (Gen 19:336-38)– that son Moab (his children are called Moabites)

Moabites were always enemies of Israel, as the children of Israel had the spirit of Lord in them and the others were guided by evil spirit.

>>  We also know about it was their King Balak who tempted Balaam(prophet of Israel) to curse Israel. (and finally send virgins to Israel to make them sin and lose the presence of God)

>> Ruth was a Moabite girl (whom God chose to be the grandmother of David)

Verse 1- The judgment of the Lord comes against Moab (those who trouble and weaken the children of God) in an overnight.

>> Because the battle is for the Lord – we sometimes think – they are constantly troubling and there is no problem for them at all. But see here – the judgment of Lord comes in a night (when they never expect)

Verses 2 & 3 - Then weeping and wailing – they were put to shame

>> Many countries are crying now – because of old work

These days many families are also in tears – because of their old deeds

God is Righteous

Verses 8 & 9 – See how badly God’s judgment is –

Don’t forget that it is this same Lord who is going to judge us in the Last judgment – Unfaithful believers will be judged as these gentiles.

>> God judges all the DIS-OBEDIENT and UNFAITHFUL

Chapter – 16

Verse 5- Out of these un-faithful generation – for their salvation – God will raise a Savior (Jesus) – when Ruth becomes the bride of Boaz (how we became the bride of Jesus)

and finally Ruth becomes the grandmother of David – which means the grandmother of Jesus also.

Verses 6 & 7 – Their present situation – proud and haughtiness (arrogance)

>> Which can be compared with today’s believers

God is against the arrogant  - Prov 8:13,  Prov 16:18,  Ps 5:5,  Rom 12:3,  Ish 13:11.

Verses 13 & 14 – How Lord is going to judge Moab

>> Today there is no country as Moab (though it was in the east of Jordan before –  wiped out from the face of earth.

Chapter – 17

Damascus (eventhough the capital of Syria or Aram or Chaldea), a great town of old civilization and tradition, one of the oldest surviving language and surviving city (eventhough it was destroyed many times)

Verse 3- About Ephraim and Damascus and Syria

>>  Hosea 4:16-18 – we understand that this Ephraim or Damascus is a joint generation of back-slided Israel and gentiles

>> Again about Ephraim in Hosea 7:8 – Ephraim is a cake – unturned

>> A strong nation – whom God used (Syrian commander) to drive Prophet Mohammed and army back, otherwise whole Europe would be converted to Islam.

>> But in the tribulation period, this city will be completely destroyed

Verse 10- To Israel (Ephraim) – Lebanon and Damascus (were all part of Israel once).

The Lebanon forest were destroyed, The green of Israel were destroyed by the Turkish empire, but now Israel is exporting Roses, Olive, fig and many costly agro-product, but its all sapling from other countries (says God).

Chapter – 18

About the countries beyond the rivers of Ethiopia

>> The countries are not clear, but about the African countries beyond Ethiopia,

>> The river mentioned in this chapter is River Nile.

·        How each country has come is clearly explained in

·        Gen 9:22 – About Canaan

·        Gen 10:6 – sons of Ham were Canaan, Mizraim (Egypt), Cush (Ethiopia)

·        Gen 10:15-17 – Amorite, Hivite

·        Gen 10:22 – Aram

·        Gen 10:32 – When the Nations were divided

·        Gen 11:10 – The sons of Shem  - Terah – Abram (verses 25 & 27)

Verse 28 – Abraham’s land – UR or Chaldea

Verse 1- Woe to those countries,

Verses 4-6 – How the Lord is going to make them un-fruitful and bring famine there, we know how Somalia and most of the African countries affected by strong famine and mal-nutrition.

>> Many people even today ask – If there is a living God, will people die like this

>> But understand that our Lord is a righteous God, he does everything righteously.

>> If he punishes a nation or a family – God has solid reason and proof of their denial and disobedience

>> Maybe this Ethiopia might have got a chance at the time of King Solomon and Queen Sheba

Next – Burden against Egypt

Chapter – 19

The Burden upon Egypt. As we know that Egypt has a very great history and a very long period of civilization.

>> We should understand that even “Israel family”1 was formed in Egypt – Gen 46:26,27 – all those who went Egypt was 70 people – which later became ISRAEL.

After almost 400 years, when they left Egypt, they were around 20 lakhs – so this is where they became a nation.

Verse 1- Usually Lord waits some time for his judgment (a slow decision is always for a righteous judgment – and a time for the sinner to repent).

>> But here it says – the judgment on Israel will be very fast – it is because of their idol worship and black magic

>> As said in Rom 1:21-23 – Eventhough they knew God (through Israel), they wee interested in worshiping all four footed creatures (this is from where worshipping animals started – which also came to India)

Verse 2- I will make them fight among themselves. That’s how the Pharaoh’s dictatorship decline.

Verse 3- They were wise and talented. They almost did all the miracles what Moses did – so much evil power they had.

Verse 4- They were handed over to a cruel ruler – anyways after lots of failures in wars, they became nothing and deserted as how they are no.

Verses 7 & 8- The papyrus will not be there – on the sides of great river Nile. Even fishes wont be there, that’s why Egypt has no source of income.

Verse 9- That fabric industry or weaving of this linen is also not there.

Verse 10- The foundations of the country will be broken, no more work, no wages.

Verse 11-14- No wise in Zoan & Noph (their royal family) and Egypt.

Verse 15- No trade or skilled work in Egypt, where they were once famous and the most mighty power of the world.

Verse 16- In that day - Egypt will be like women – no strength and courage, but fear and cowards

Verses 19 - 25- They will built an altar (worship place) to the Lord (in the borders). There is going to be a revival in Egypt. When worship will increase in Egypt, then trade between countries will come.

22 – Lord will strike them (by ISIS), they will return to the Lord

They will worship alongwith Assyria (Iraq and Iran) – they will also turn to the Lord.

Chapter – 20

Verse 1- Assyrian (Ashur) king Sargon sent his commander Tartan (2 King 18:17) to conquer Ashdod (Judah)

Verse 2- As God told him, he removed his outer garment and be noticed very much in public, so when people ask him, he can tell the message what Lord  spoke to him about Egypt and Ethiopia – that God will make you ashamed like this (a dramatic explanation).

Verse 3- Three years – the prophet of God Isaiah – as Lord told him walked naked and barefoot – through the roads

Verse 4- Lord told as my servant Isaiah walked, so shall they (Egypt and Ethiopia) be taken as slaves by the Assyrians.

Chapter – 21

Verse 1- The burden against the wilderness of the sea

Verse 9- From this verse it is clear that it is spoken about Babel or Babylon

Verse 11- Again the burden of the Lord against Dumah – is the name of the fourth son of Ishmael (Genesis 25:14; 1 Chronicles 1:29,30)

Verse 13-  The burden of God against Arabia (again the other tribes of Arabian lands)

Chapter – 22

Verses 1, 8, 9 , 10 - The burden against the Valley of Visions (which is Jerusalem)

We can understand that from the verses 8-10 in this chapter

Chapter – 23

Verse 1- This is the last burden we see in this book – Here burden Tyre (Sor)

and Sidon (Phoenicians), also in Tarshish (where Jonah tried to escape to)

>> All these were great places of great trade because these Phoenicians were so smart and brilliant.

>> In 2 Chron it says that’s they were famous in weaving, dyeing and engraving in precious stones.

In Solomons time – carpenters and mason were from Tyre

>> But how smart and influential they are – when the hand of the Lord turns against them – verses 7-12

>> Lord has been dealing with them for 70 years – verse 17 – now it the end of this nation.

>> It might be because of their idolatry and influencing and weakening Israel always, as they always dwelt in and nearby of Israel. They were very much friendly with Israel in the time of David and Solomon.

>> They were ready for any service and very much influenced Israel.

>> Finally this is what Jesus told Israel in

Math 11:22 - But I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you.

>> So if you look at other and be influenced you will be ashamed in front of them, because you should understand who you are. As long as you are Lord children, you cannot be like them.

They have no law, but we have a discipline and we are lead by the Holy spirit of God.

Chapter – 24

Till now we saw the judgment of God on different nations (which have already taken place). Now we are going to see the judgment on earth (whole world) – the tribulation  - which is yet to happen.

Verse 1- Lord is going to make the earth empty and make it waste.

Distort its surface and scatter the inhabitants

Verse 6- Therefore the inhabitants are burned (by fire)

And only a few men left.

>> Gen 9:11 - Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood - RAINBOW

>> 2 Peter 3:6,7 - by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water.

But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

>>> READ  - Rev 6:13-17,           Rev 8:7 to  9:12

Verses 13-15- When all the world is in tribulation, we see a small group – from all the tribes of Israel – sealed by the Lord – so that they are not destroyed.

>> Rev 7:2-8 – 1,44,000 (12,000 from each tribe) selected by God – among the jews are sealed by the Lord.

>> Other Jews are going to be grinded in the tribulation

Verse 16- All the inhabitants of the world are going to cry out – I am ruined – all my investments gone

Verses 17 & 18- Only fear and pit(holes) and snare(trap) – to kill them – it might be the total bombing.

Verse 19 & 20 – The earth is violently broken

Verse 23- By the coming of the King of Kings – only there will be peace and joy - >> Read   Rev 20:4  and Rev 19:16

Chapter – 25

The next two chapters are about the 1000 year rule in this world.

Verse 1- Now Jesus is the ruler

Verse 2- No need of a fort because Satan(terrorist –one who crawls into borders)- is bound, and here Jesus is the ruler

Verse 3- All nations will fear you and glorify you

Verse 5- All other Gods and even Anti-Christ – No sound about them

>> Or a praise to a foreign God or the name of any saint or mediator

Verse 6- Lord will feed the world and provide them with the best class

Verse 8- He will comfort all – no death or sorrow or debt or sickness – so no tears

Verse 9- The real Savior – whom the world has waited for – He will save us,

Now whole world will love him and trust him (because satan is bound)

So its satan who does not allow us to love the Lord with all our heart

Verse 12- All the arrogant of the world is gone – No more arrogance and proud (it is satans character)

Chapter – 26

Again continuation of how wonderful it would be to trust in Jesus

Verses 3 & 4 – You will get perfect peace whose mind is concentrated on you. So we lose our peace because our mind runs there and here – that’s when we worry like gentiles.–

>> Lord asks – then why do we worry like the gentiles (Math 6:31-34)

Even when a person passes away, that’s why we don’t wail like the gentiles do

>> When you trust in Him – everlasting strength

That’s why many verses in old and testament says – Blessed are those who trust in Him.

Chapter – 27

Verse 1- Before the beginning of the Millennium, Lord will have victory over the devil in the Armegeddon (in the valleys of Megiddo) war,

>> Lord judges with His sword – We see in Ish 66:16 and Ezek 21:3-5(by fire and by sword)

Here the Lord is judging that old serpent here called – Leviathan

>> Here Lord says he is going to judge – Lucipher, his army of fallen angels and all those who obeyed him.
>> If that Satan realized that he would be judged and cut into pieces, he could have easily repented, but he is not doing so.

**Even we have become like the devil – by satan’s influence. We know that we will be punished if we don’t obey all the counsel of God, if we don’t witness him, if we are not faithful, but we become into a state of arrogance and no fear. Lord pities you – because only Lord know what he is going to do next.

Verse 7- Israel got more beating (from Lord) than those countries who struck Israel (their enemies) – Reason –

>> Amos 3:2 - “ You only have I known of all the families of the earth; Therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.”

**The more He loves us – heavenly calling – the more training

>> In epistle of Peter – as a Holy nation – a peculiar nation – His own treasure

That’s why - Knowing more of the word of God and not doing it brings judgment to ourselves -

>>John 9:41 - Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin: but now you say, ‘We see’. Therefore your sin remains”.

>>John 15:22 -  “If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin”.

>>2 Peter 2:20-22 - For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. Their end will be worse than the beginning.

>> Ezek 33:31,32 – His word is like a lovely (comforting)song, they hear it but they do not do it.

Chapter – 28

In Verses 1 & 3 - To disobedient Lord will judge – (whether Ephraim or Samaria – mixed with the world) – they have a crown of pride (arrogance)

Verse 5-  But in those days – Millennium – God will be a crown of glory (something we have to glory) to the remnant

>> That why Paul says – Gal 6:14 - I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world

Verse 16- The kingdom of God contains – the chief corner stone and then similar stones on it. – a tried stone (proved and tested), precious and a sure foundation

>> 1 Peter 2:6 – 8 - Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, “ Behold, I lay in Zion  A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame."

Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious;

but to those who are disobedient,“ The stone which the builders rejected      Has become the chief cornerstone,"

and “ A stone of stumbling, And a rock of offense.” They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.

Verse 18- That’s how the second death(eternal death) on you will be annulled (cancelled)

>> Rev 20:6 - Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

>> Second death means HELL FIRE – Rev 20:14 and Rev 21:8

Verse 26-29- How the Lord deals with each people in different ways. Cumin in a different way, wheat in mill and crusher – The farmer knows what to do to each person

·        in life (for your transformation)

·        and also in Judgment (here this verse is said about the judgment upon each person (God is righteous and He shows no partiality)

About judgment this is what Jesus told in Math 13:30 - Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn

Again in Math 13:41,42 - The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness,

and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

>> So it is we who decide our eternity and life in this world (who is on the Lord’s side, who will stand for the Lord, speakwitness)

>> Heb 10:31 - It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Chapter – 29

Ariel – is a symbolic name (meaning – Like Lion) of Jerusalem which is written in verses 1, 2 & 7

This chapter is about Jerusalem from the time of capture by Sancherib to the last when Jesus will put his feet upon Jerusalem.

>> The coming of Jesus on that mount of Olive is written in Zachariah 14:1-7

>> Then the battle of Har-Megiddo (meaning – Mount of Megiddo) – Rev 16:16

Verses 2 - 5 – Judgment against Jerusalem

>> This is a prophecy before King Nebuchadnezzar came to Jerusalem and destroyed it

Verses 6 & 9 – Judgment against those countries who fight with Israel. Lord with his saints and angels are going to come down and fight for Israel after the 7 years of tribulation period.

Verse 15- Woe to those who think – God is not seeing them and God is not going to punish

Chapter – 30

Verses 1 & 3 – Woe to the rebellious children

>> The prophecy is fulfilled when Israel did not hear the voice of God through his prophet and trusted in Egypt thinking they will help to defeat Assyria, but because of disobedience they became the slaves of Assyria.

>> The spiritual meaning – is the the counsel of God to the rebellious people

·        Who take counsel but not of me

·        Who devise plans but not of me

·        so they add sin to sin – by disobeying – to cover one sin – another

·        What they trusted – the strength and shadow of Pharaoh – the same became their humiliation (its written in 2 Kings)

>> They forgot how Almighty God had called them and separated them out of Egypt and proved that they should only trust in God – when they had no other option in front of the red sea, then manna, quails, water, marrah became sweet, pillars of fire and clouds – Now they forgot it all.

>> Now they want to enjoy with the world – be with them on their side – be accepted by them

>> Ps 34:8 - Oh taste and see that the Lord is good – Blessed is the man that trust in him

Verses 8-10 – write down on a big tablet – let everyone see what happened to them.

>> Now they are very much worldly – they don’t want to live holy – that desire and thirst is gone

>> Now they don’t want to hear the word which corrects them but they want to hear smooth words which will pat them to continue in what they are doing now.

Verse 15- But Lord reminds – If you return and obey God – receive the correction

Don’t rebel to the counsel of God – but quietly accept it– then you shall be saved

Verse 16& 17- Till they obey God gave them to punishments and to the enemy

Verse 18- Blessed are those who wait for him

>> Ish 40:31 - But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

>> What does wait mean – you cant make the Lord do his work fast, he has a time for everything and we need to wait till his time and for his will.

So not our will and time – but His – understand that mystery

>> Those who wait are BLESSED means those who don’t wait and hurry are CURSED.

Verse 19- this verse onwards – how Lord is going to help and protect those who trust him.

Verse 21- How God will guide you and move you away from dangers, failures and sin.

Verse 22- When you know the greatness of God – you will throw away all your great things and ornaments like a menstrual cloth (in KJV, NIV, Amplified, Hindi etc)

Chapter – 31

Verses 1 & 3 – Woe to those who trust in chariots and horses, in their horsemen

3 – They are just men – and not God

>> we know the verses – Those who trust in the Lord shall never be ashamed

>> Jer 17:5,7 - Thus says the LORD: “ Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the LORD.

“ Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD.

Chapter – 32

Verse 1-5- When Jesus becomes our King and ruler of the world – see the change

So till now – the worldly ways were because Satan ruled this world

>> Even in our life when Jesus becomes the king – our property changes

Verse 6- So Foolishness comes from satan

Sine comes from satan

Arrogance comes from satan

Verse 15- That change in our life and comes when Holy spirit comes into our life

As God spoke through Joel - prophecy – In the last days I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh

>> Here it says – then the wilderness becomes a fruitful field.

Not just saying some old tongues – be renewed in the spirit.

Chapter – 33

Verse 1- Woe to those who attack His children

Here is says about Assyria but it’s a prophecy to all those who attack and harm or work against the children of God.

In the beginning – they will say – No problem – but when God rises for revenge – their address will not be there.

>> So its wonderful to give everything to the Lord – because when He works – He deals wonderful

If we try to make it straight – sometimes satan will use that opportunity against us to defame us

Verse 2- Lord be Gracious, I wait for you

Verse 6- What we should do – be in the fear of the Lord and trust in Him

Verse 10 - Lord has a time for His work – even if it is revenge or deliverance

Chapter – 34

In all these chapters we were seeing the judgment on Israel, then their tribulation period, then the millennium (1000 year rule) and that is the hope that we all have.

>> Titus 2:13 - looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ

Verses 1 -3- How the Lord will judge the disobedient (whether Lords children-Israel or gentiles) is same for Him now.

Verses 4 – What is going to happen in the great tribulation.

Verse 8 &9 – Lord’s wrath upon them

>> When we hear this, we might feel its ok, we’ll see when it comes

>> Ps 50:21, (22 & 23) - These things you have done, and I kept silent; You thought that I was altogether like you; But I will rebuke you, And set them in order before your eyes.

>> Noah preached for around 70 to 80 years, still no one obeyed (no one bothered, they really couldn’t believe that the Lord will destroy the world with water, now also the same we are not able to believe that the Lord will destroy the whole world with fire. (God spoke to Noah when he was 500 years old and the flood started when he was 600 years old) – written in Gen chapt 5 and 7)

>> Lord again warns them in Luke 17:26-28 (like in the days of Noah – they ate, drank, married, had children, bought and sold (investments for the family)

Verse 16- When people have a lot of confusion and

Ψ different teachings about the Lord’ coming

Ψ how many chances we have

Ψ who will go to heaven

Ψ once you are baptized heaven is for sure (salvation will never be lost)

Ψ for what will the Lord judge us

Ψ what account do we have to settle with Him on that day

For all these questions, we need to listen to man’s opinions or books written by different authors, the Holy Bible has answers to all these – but you have to search it and understand it with the help of the Holy spirit God.

>> Because it has come out of the mouth of God (Rom 3:2 and John 12:48-God judges) and the spirit of the Lord composed it as a law book for us.

Chapter – 35

Now as the judgment on people is over (in the last 34 chapters), now

Verses 1 & 2- Now the dry has become fertile, the desert has blossomed, the wasteland and wilderness has become fruit – because Jesus has come to rule. If this happens geographically on that day, now its going to happen internally in our life as Jesus starts ruling our life. Not when you are baptized – but the day when you really give your heart to Jesus (otherwise you will still be a problem maker and work out your hereditial nature.

But the day when Jesus rules your heart completely, its known to the world – all the areas of your life will have a notable change.

Verses 3 &4 – Strengthen the weak hands and feeble knees – means only with hands and knees you can work out something – for the Lord

>> When the fullness (means place for him only) of Lord comes into your life – then you can work out, otherwise it will only be as a desire and in boasting

>> Heb 12: 12& 13 – Therefore if you think that you still feeble(weak) to witness God and testify His name (Lord is giving you all the training to be more dedicated and strong) – STRENTHEN YOURSELVES – the hands which hang down – good for nothing(heaven) – for your matters – you are working – SELFISH.

>> MAKE STRAIGHT YOUR PATHS – otherwise you will be totally dislocated – Lord will not always PAT you – He will use the same hand to SMASH you.

>> Lords desire is the lame should not be dislocated – but Healed. (you should be where Lord wants you to be and do what the Lord wants)

>> If you don’t receive the change in your life – then dislocated.

>> 14 – Lord expects a change OUTSIDE and INSIDE.

>> Peace and happiness with outside people

>> And HOLINESS inside

Without a good testimony outside and inside – NO ONE WILL SEE GOD

>> 15 – Look careful – Let not GRACE decrease

>> Let not satanic bitterness enter into your heart – by which many are defiled.

Verses 5 - 7 – How its going to be when Jesus rules (all our physical weakness is going to go – this body is corruptible)

Verses 8-10 – When Jesus rules in holiness, even anyone who was a fool or a person with fleshy character – they have no option but to live in holiness

10 – Everyone will return to Zion (to the Lord and His word) – Lord will restore them (re-instate)

>> But the sad part is when Satan is left loose – they will turn against the Lord

>> Rev 20:7-10 – What Lord is going to do with satan and the deceived people

>> Heb 12:25-29

>> 2 Peter 3:7-9

Chapter – 36

From chapters 36 to 39 – we see a lot of history. From chapter 1–35 – we saw the judgment of God. Now from chapters 40-66 we see the grace of God, now this center part connects both these parts.

Here we see the times of Hezekiah (the 4th king in whose time Isaiah was a prophet (Ish 1:1). Hezekiah was a king of Judah (so in the line of David).

What happened here is mentioned 3 times in the Bible – 2 Kings chapt 18 &19, 2 Chronicles chapt 29 & 30 and here in the book if Isaiah – means its very important.

Again there are some certain strange but real things –

1)    Ish 37:36-38 – One angel killed 1,85,000 people (Assyrians)

2)    Ish 38:7,8 – the sundial of Ahaz went back by 10 degrees

3)    Ish 38: 1-5 – God healed Hezekiah and added 15 years to his life

Their great Grandfather – King Asa (3rd king of Judah) did not trust in the Lord (2 Chron 16:12) – but his great grandchild Hezekiah trusted in the Lord – 2 King 18:5

Verses 1 & 2 - Here we are going to learn about King Hezekiah (King of Judah) and King Sennacherib (King of Assyria).

>> Sennacherib defeated all cities and came to the gates of Jerusalem, Unlike other countries, when Hezekiah (in his 14th year) started to oppose, Sennacherib though that they had some hidden weapon or some other trick in mind, so he sent his spies to find out. Then he sent Rabshakeh (His chief of staff) to enquire and make fun of them.

>> Read 2 King 18:13-20 (where it is repeated)

>> Hezekiah tried to give money and let this testing go, but it wont go like that. We first try to try all our ways and finally come to that dear friend of ours (Lord) who is waiting – when will my child come to me.

Verses 3 & 4 – Eliakim came and talked with him.

Verse 6- Are you trying to trust in Egypt (broken reed)

Verse 7- If you are trying to trust in Jehovah, don’t be fooled. Hezekiah has already taken all the gold and silver (all what was in the temple) and altars from there.

>> He thought – the power of the Lord was in the vessels or pillars or altar or things in the temple. And Sennacherib had already destroyed the altars on the hill outside.

>> He didn’t know that faith in God is unseen, it is not on any material. And God dwells in our heart, not in temple or altars.

Verse 8- He made fun of Israel – I will give you 2000 horses to fight against us. You don’t have enough horse riders to make them sit on it.

Verse 10- Rabshakeh is telling – the Lord is on their side (because of number of people) – majority wins

Verse 11-16- Speak to us in Aramaic – so that the soldiers on the wall will hear), but he started loudly in Hebrew (a trick which enemy always uses to deflate whatever little power is left)

>> Like how Goliath tried and somewhat succeeded – till David the anointed one came – whole Israel got victory.

Verse 22- They tore their dresses – because they were disgraced and humiliated (like the 10 out of 12 who went to look at Canaan)

Chapter – 37

Verse 1- But King Hezekiah reaction was different, he immediately started sitting fasting in the presence

Verses 6 & 7 – Isaiah replied – Don’t be afraid of their words

>> or their looks – Ezek 3:9,10 – Don’t be afraid by their looks, I have made your forehead like diamond.

Verses 8 - 14 – Rabshakeh heard that Sennacherib was in war with another country so went back to help him.

He gave a letter to Hezekiah saying – that he will come back soon (again a threat)

Verses 15-21- He went into the prayer room with that letter. There is always a solution in the presence of the Lord – for those who are completely holy and obedient (to all the personal counsel of God) - otherwise make your paths straight.

Verse 28 & 29- God says – He heard the rage against God and their arrogance. God has recorded all their words and works and is now going to repay them accordingly.

Verse 30- You will dwell fo some more years in this place and do farming (their livelihood – for food) – No one is going to drive you from here.

>> Its not the world which decides – but our Lord who decides where we should be and what we should do.

So whatever we are going through now – is by the knowledge of God.

Verse 33- God has blocked Assyria – from coming here

Verses 36 - 38- Now God is fighting for Israel. God sent His angels (our ministering spirits) to fight for them.

>> They asked – if they have 2000 horse men (because they had lakhs)

>> Now God sent one angel and killed 1,85,000 men by night.

>> Now where is the strength

>> Will anyone call Sennacherib a king if he has no soldiers

>> His own sons killed him (shocking) and ran away from the country, another son became the king (so God sent sword to the people’s camp and also to King’s family)

>> This is there in history – this was the fall of Assyrian Empire and Babylon defeated it and the rise of Babylonian Empire.

>> One enemy’s address gone, but understand that – there will always be another enemy rising against us – to remind us that we are in the battle field.

Chapter – 38

Because Hezekiah was a Good king who trusted in God 1(2 Kimgs 18:5-7)

>> And in last chapter we also learned that he was a good prayer man – In the life of Ahaz (his father) when he had enemies – he trusted Egypt and became ashamed, meanwhile Hezekiah saw all this – what happened in Israel – and Lord taught him a lesson – put all our burden in the presence of the Lord and he will open a way in the desert (because He is a God who

Ψ Gave them manna from heaven

Ψ Gave them quails from heaven

Ψ Sent 10 plagues to Egypt – just to save them from bondage

Ψ Divided the Red sea into two

Ψ Gave them water in the desert

Ψ Gave them victory in war -  just by raising the anointed person’s hand etc

So Jehovah is Almighty God who creates a way among all impossibilities

You have to walk in His ways and obey His counsel - all the days of your life

Verse 1- Just after this fiery trial by Assyria, Immediately came the next wave –

He was at sick-bed, And the prophet came and told God’s counsel – This is your last – so set your house in order (do all the needed settlements – the next ruler – deeds etc)

>> If any one of you get an intimation like this – only one more month you will live – How will that one month be –

Ψ Full of prayer and humbleness,

Ψ No special desires – even if you see something colorful or attractive – not looking at it – it is not entering into your heart

Ψ Not bothered about – who is buying something new or whatever is going around you

Ψ Just thinking that – the few days I have in front of me – How can I make it fruitful for the Lord – always meditating the word of God, examining yourself, having changes in your attitude and whole life – a correction

Ψ Not giving a pain to anyone – or competing with any one

This is what Hezekiah also did –

Verse 3- but He had a confidence with his relationship with God because He trusted in the Lord, stood for the Lord and obeyed all the counsel of God – all the days of His rule.

Verse 5- Lord spoke to Him through the prophet – I have heard your prayers – surely I will add 15 years to your life.

Verse 6- So it is Lord’s words

I will deliver you from this serious disease and

I will deliver you from the hand of the King of Assyria (whole Israel)

So deliverance for him and his people

Verses 7 & 8 – Lord understood his un-belief (because till that time – such a thing

has never happened in this world)

And gave the king a sign – that the sun-dial will 10 degrees on the clock backward

(so it means the sun went back)

>> Lord always does supernatural things for His children – why – so that our spiritual life also should be extra ordinary.

>> Luke 12:48 - For everyone to whom much is given (opportunities and word),

from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more

>> Luke 7:47 - Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.”

Verses 10 - 20- The writing as a song or poem – maybe – anyway about all what he went through in his death bed

20 – Hezekiah was praising God from his heart – I will worship Him all the days of my life

But after receiving healing and deliverance from enemies.

>> 2 Chron 32:25 - But Hezekiah did not repay according to the favor shown him, for his heart was lifted up; therefore wrath (of God) was looming over him and over Judah and Jerusalem.

>> Here in the time he got extended – look what all satan made him do

Ψ Above verse – the wrath of the Lord came upon him for his arrogance – if he would have died on right time – atleast he would have been in heaven

Ψ During this extension period – to him was born – King Manasseh (2 Kings 21:10-17)– who was the cruelest and horrible king of Judah – much much worse than any gentile king – his sin was un-bearable in front of God.

>> So we can understand that – it is not good to ask and demand things from God, many things that we ask a lot will be a headache all over our life.

>> So a person who submits himself to God’s will is always blessed till the end.

Chapter – 39

Here we see after this deliverance now the King and Israel is going to go through stiff trials. Even in Elijah’s life – after the great miracle and sacrifice – he had to go through the hardest part – the threat of King Ahab and Jezebel.

Satan has many tricks – if you are getting stronger and stronger in trials.

He will give you all the comfort and luxurious so that you will be enticed in it – desiring for more.

Verse 1-8- King showed all the things in the house – to the Babylon king. There was nothing he didn’t show. They had great wealth from the time of David and Solomon.

>> But immediately God sent his servant and told about what God is going to do. Because as he was delivered from both the greatest problems – now arrogance came into his life. When Babylon king praised him – he was proud and haughty (something which God hates) – was it by his ability – or was it because of Him.

>> People might praise us because of what we have now – but don’t forget that what we have now is for the glory of God – and if we are not faithful – the same Lord will take it back – we are just the keepers.

Chapter – 40

Verses 5, 7, 8- Instead of trusting in anything that we have in the world, it is wonderful to trust in the Lord and obey His counsel

Verse 10- This is how the Almighty is going to rule us – in the millennium

Verse 11- Lord’s relation with us is always special.

First He came to earth as a Savior and Shepherd – John 10:11 - “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

Verse 12- How Almighty He is – He is the creator and controller of all things

Verses 13 & 14-  – Don’t teach Him what to do (like Hezekiah), don’t give him counsel as if you are his counselor

Verse 18 & 25- He is in-comparable – Then why cant we obey Him and worship Him and trust only in Him.

Our sovereign master – He controls everything in my life

>> As in the Lord’s prayer – Let your will be done in earth as it is in heaven.

Verse 26- From verses 18 – 15 – if people tell you to worship or trust in other Gods and you have a doubt regarding this matter –

Different groups – different beliefs – different teachings and vision – Then look above and see the almighty creator and controller of everything in the whole universe – then you will understand how great He is and submit yourselves completely to Him.

Verse 27- Sometimes we say – My Lord is not seeing whats happening

Verse 28- Have you not heard (even though you forgot what you have experienced earlier)

>> Now children of God have forgotten what they experienced and they knew about God – that Lord is AL-MIGHTY.

God will not sleep or me tired.

Verse 29- He gives power to the weak and to those who have no might.

God is the source of all heavenly power – high current power – exceedingly great power

Verse 30- Even though the young, strong, clever, rich all become tired and exhausted – but still on the other hand – those who trust in the Lord shall always renew their strength.

Verse 31- Trust only in the Lord – wait till He gives you counsel (what to do)

Those who look only on His face shall only -

Ψ Renew their strength

Ψ Shall fly higher with wings like eagles

Ψ They shall keep on running for the Lord – without being tired

Ψ They shall keep on walking (with Jesus) so they will never faint

Acts 1:8 - But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth

Chapter – 41

God speaks about the children of Abraham.

You are my children

Dont be like others – trust in me

Verses 8-13 – You are my specially called. I will not allow anything ungodly to happen in your life, so trust in me and fear not

Verses 14-16- You are just a worm – nothing

What you plan is not going to happen in your life – only Gods plan

15- What authority and victory God is going to give to those who are obeidient and faithful.

Chapter – 42

Here in this chapter – My Servant - about Christ

Verses 1-4 – When you see Math 12:17-21, you will clearly understand that it was about Christ

Verse 4-  Lord will not be discouraged or stop His work in our life until the Mission succeeds

Verses 6-7 –Here Father God is presenting Christ as a Servant from Heaven and a Redeemer to Israel and then to all Gentiles

>>  As a light to the gentiles (whole world)

>> Simeon prophesies about Christ Luke 2:30-32

>> Again Jesus says in John 8:12- "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life

Verses 23-25 –If you dont give ear to the counsel of God, and be fully obedient, the he pours outs His fury of anger. Will any creation be able to resist  that – NEVER – you will be completly destroyed.

>> Many people – from the begining onwards – dont bother what God says and continue in their sin – as God is a righteous God – He has no option but to destroy you.

Chapter – 43

Verse 1- Again God who loves His children giving Jacob or Israel (His children) a chance.

>> Who was Jacob – he was a deciever (Gen chapter 27) –

Whoever you are doesnt matter – but are you planning to continue like that – then Gods wrath otherwise Lord is  calling you closer

Verse 2- Lord is reminding them of the days they went through the red sea and many fiery trials.

>> You are my own – I will be with you…….

Verse 3- I am the Lord your God

Verse 4- I have loved you, you are precious in my sight

Verse 5- Fear not

Verse 8- Out of all the people -  bring out the people who have eyes but blind, and deaf but have ears

>> What is the use of having ears and eyes which is not functioning

Verse 11- I myself am the Lord, and I am the Savior

In this verse it is clear that Lord God himself is the savior,

God = Jesus

Verse 13- I will work in you life – who can reverse it.

>> Only Lord can open and close doors in our life, save and deliver, so understand that truth – you cannot change the plan of God.

>> Lord knows what He is doing – its all for your good.

Verse 19- Behold i will do a new thing in your life, and it will come very soon

>> Many false prophets take this verse simply to make you happy.

>> God is Almighty to open ways and only He can create new things in your life,

But its not simply opening doors and blessing

It all depends on how faithful and obedient you are to God

On how you respond to His calling and work it out.

Chapter – 44

In this chapter, God is warning all those who turn from living God to any form of idols or image. Idol is not only a moulden image but anything that we love more than ourselves.

>> Col 3:1-3 – Ste your minds on the things above

Verses 1, 2- The one I have chosen, Hear – Fear not

Verse 3 – Lord says He will pour out His spirit upon those who are thirsty (if you are like dry ground)

Verses 9-11 –He gets nothing - useless

Verses 17 & 18- God has shut their eyes and hearts

Gods hand is always against any person who keeps an idol in his life.

Verses 21 & 22- Again reminder to the children of God – come back to me for I have redeemed you

>> Going away to love the world

Chapter – 45

From Ish 44:28 and then in chapt 45 – its a prophecy about King Cyrus (Koresh) –  which was revealed to Isaiah by God 200 years before he was born.

Look at the revelation of Isaiah and also for Israel to be prepared for a good king.

Even about Jesus who was born into this world 700 years later.

In Ish 44:28 – it says – you shall built the temple.

>> Ezra 1:1, 2 – How Cyrus became King and gave freedom to Israelites

The first temple, built by King Solomon, had been destroyed by the Babylonians (Nebuchadnezzar)  in 587 BC (2 Kings 25:8–10).

The Persian king Cyrus appointed Zerubbabel as governor of Judah (Haggai 1:1), and right away Zerubbabel began rebuilding the temple with the help of Joshua, the high priest (Ezra 3:2–3, 8)

>> Haggai and Ezra were prophets of the same time

Verse 1- Eventhough he was a persian king, God used him as a sheperd and a helper for Israel. God guided him because Lord cared for His people

>> Kings right hand God held

>> Through him God delivered Israel fom captivity

Re-build the temple of God for Israel

Verse 3 – God gave him the richess of other kingdoms – to build the temple of Jerusalem.

Verse 5 – I am God almighty

I will gird or tighten you (control you)

Verse 7 – I create good and bad, light and darkness

Peace and calamity, I the Lord do all these

 >> I Sam 2:6-8

Verse 9 – same is repeated in Rom 9:18-21 (25)

Verse 17- Gods promise to His children (also the New testament Israel)

Verse 22- All those who look upon the Lord will be saved

Chapter – 46

Here in this chapter – a comparison between the real God and idols. According to their capacity they make idols with materials of different price and worship their own creation –

In Deu 27:15 - ‘Cursed is the one who makes a carved or molded image, an abomination to the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and sets it up in secret.’ “And all the people shall answer and say, ‘Amen!’

IDOLS in Heart – Anything we love more than God

Verses 1 & 2- Main two idols name, but they could not save them.

>> They can only do one thing – put them again in bondage

Verses 3 & 4 – Think about the Lord who created you and upheld you all throughout.

>> Lord will carry us – even when we are all grey hair – what an assurance – this is heavenly royal insurance (but this facility is  only for faithful and obedient people.

>> Why – because I have made you, I will protect and carry you.

Verse 6-The rich people are lavishly putting their Gold and silver in the furnace, so what about the poor people. (who wants – even the idol doesn’t want.

Verse 7- They carry it and keep it in one corner – it cannot move from there

>> Ps 115:3-8 - They have mouths, but they do not speak;Eyes they have, but they do not see; They have ears, but they do not hear; Noses they have, but they do not smell, They have hands, but they do not handle; Feet they have, but they do not walk; Nor do they mutter through their throat.

Those who make them are like them; So is everyone who trusts in them

Verse 9- No one like me – only trust in me – nothing else

Verse 12- Listen to me – you stubborn hearted – who are far from righteousness

Chapter – 47

Here we see the fall of Babylon – because of their idolatry

We had already thought of it in Ish chapter 13

Ψ Ish 13:1 – the fall Babylon

Verses 13-14 – I will shake her and move her out of its place

Verses 15-17 –Babylon will be ashamed – Every one will ask – Is this the Empire who made the earth tremble.

Verses 19-22 – The fall of Babel, when Lord judges, their address won’t be there, like Sodom and Gomorrah

>> So beware of the lust of world and the love of money, all these love other than the love to our eternal Savior are idols, they move us away from God, even we wont know, that much cunning the devil is.

>> But don’t forget who your Lord is –

>> God says – You thought I was a man like you to forget what you have done -

Ps 50:21-23 - These things you have done, and I kept silent; You thought that I was altogether like you; But I will rebuke you, And set them in order before your eyes. Lest I tear you in pieces, And there be none to deliver:

Verse 1- No throne – sit on the ground like a beggar

>> She is a called a virgin here – because she was not defeated by any country till then – but now the hand of the Lord is going to turn against her.

Verses 2 & 3- Like a servant – do all low works

And you will be ashamed – made fun by every one

Verse 6- You showed no mercy to my children – that was in the mind of the Lord.

Verse 8- You said all this in your arrogance (of Nebuchadnezzar)  – but see what the Lord is going to do  - (Lord made him mad and eat grass – Daniel 4:33)

Verses 10-15 - You trusted in your wickedness, wisdom, sorceries, strology

But will any of those save you.

>> Will your money save you – no you will stumble by what you trusted

Chapter – 48

Verse 1- Now again Lord is speaking to His people – who are called – who swear by His name

Verse 2- They have spiritual show outside – but no power of God – not worshipping God with a contrite heart

Verse 12 – 16- Listen to me – I am the one who called you

There are many verses in Isaiah – I have called you

>> The God who called us – He will take care of all our problems

Believe it – Satan can only show some acts – Nothing is going to harm us

>> Foolish satan doesn’t know its going to make us closer and stronger in the Lord

Verse 17 – 19- But God expects complete obedience to His counsel – then only can Lord save us from all the games of satan

>> Then only He can bless us

If you would have obeyed me – I would have really blessed you.

But because of your disobedience I allowed the enemies to make you ashamed – to defeat you – Because our God is a righteous God.

Verse 22- If you have a straight heart – then you will have peace

Chapter – 49

Verse 1- Here God is speaking about the church.

>> That he has called us from far people (not Israel)

>> from my mothers womb he has called me

·        Paul says the same in  Galatians 1:15

·        Jeremiah 1:5-8 – To Jeremiah – God speaks the same

·        Psalmist David says in Psalms 22

·        Then again in Ps 139:16 - Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed and you called me from my mothers womb (read verses 13-17)

>> Throughout all the chapter – God says you. Here it is to the anointed prophet. But when we read it – God is speaking to you – that you become a light to the gentiles – and God is going to show salvation to many through you.

Verse 2- He made my mouth like a sharp sword – to do its work – wherever needed and to have victory over the enemy

>> He hid me in the shadow of His arms

>> Made me a polished shaft (sharp) – and hid me in His quiver. He will take me when he needs me as a weapon for attack.

>> 2 Tim 4:2 - Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

Verse 4 – When I say I have labored in vain – no one is seeing me

God will say – 1 Cor 15:58 - Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

·        In between the verses talk about the relationship between Israel and a Savior to come

Verse 6 – What is the job entrusted –

·        To restore the preserved ones (Lords chosen Ones)

·        As a light to the Gentiles

Verse 15 & 16 – I will not forget you – ( I will not forsake you till the end (in OT and NT)

>> I have engraved you on the palms of my hands (engraved so no chance of slipping of)

Chapter – 50

Here in this chapter also – in between we see prophecies of the relationship between Israel and their savior Jesus, at the same time the calling and relationship of Jesus and His church.

Verse 1- Israel was cruel to divorce their partner (Math 19:18 and Mark 10:5), so God is using that same example.

>> I have not divorced or forsaken you but it is your sin which has separated you from me

Verse 2- Even if satan has made you sin and far from me – is my hand shortened to redeem you – No – I am almighty to redeem you – that is the desire of God – But do we have that desire or other worldly desires.

Verse 4 – In the calling – God has given me the tongue of a learned (disciple-greek) – to speak like a disciple

·        God awakens me every morning

·        To hear like a disciple

We live and God trains to hear and speak like a disciple (dedication). We have to receive from God and testify and exhort other to make them also children of God.

Verse 7- I will not be disgraced by satan defeating me, because he has made my face and forehead like   a flint stone (hardest stone) or diamond

>> As it is said in Ezekiel 3:9

Verse 10- Who among you really fears the Lord ??

Who among you really obey the voice of God ??

Let him trust in the name of the Lord

Verse 11- Then a warning to all those who walk in their own light and sparks

>> Lord says – This you shall have from my hand – You shall live in distress (because the hand of the Lord will be against you)

But still foolish people don’t learn a lesson.

Chapter – 51

Rom 13:11,12 - And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.

The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.

Eph 5:10,11 - And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.

Verses 1 & 2 - Turn back and look from where God had taken you.

>> Look I have called Abraham and Sarah alone from all the other people at that time on earth.

Even His brother’s son (nephew) Lot was called but he was not faithful – he nor his family – so they were completely cut off from the book of the living – they did not die – they had children and flourished in this world – but detached from the presence of the Lord.

>> At all times – from different generation and different families –

Those who stand faithful according to the calling of the Lord – Lord will be with them to protect them and to guide -

Verses 4 & 5 - God is a righteous judge

Verses 14-17 – Awake O Jerusalem out of your spiritual sleep, anyway now your joy is only going to come once.

2 Peter 2:20 - For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.

Verse 11 – For Israel and for us – the everlasting joy and gladness is going to come when Christ will be the ruler in the millennium

Chapter – 52

Verses 1 & 2 - Shake off from you - all that weakens you

>> If nothing is weakening you, it means you are being mightily used in the hands of God. If you are not able to receive the real strength of the Lord in all fullness means – there are many things which weaken you.

>> As in this verse – still you are a captive of many things

>> Leave aside

Heb 12:1  - let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

Col 3:8-10 - But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.

Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds,

and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him

Verses 11 & 12 – It is to those who are called to glorify the name of the Lord – those who are called to be and example to others and proclaim the gospel of God.

>> Come out form al that is unclean – come out from all that weakens us

>> Be separated – cleanse yourself (be more Holy)

Verse 7- Those who tell this good gospel to others should be examplery and show the good way to other so that they can follow

>> No that their legs are clean but their ways should be exemplary that others can follow.

Here we see a big message of separation –

·        2 Cor 6:17 – Come out from among them and be separate

·        Rom 12:2 - And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

·        1 Cor 5:11 - But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person.

·        James 4:4 - Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. (or even with a brother who is a friend of this world

·        The reason is Heb 7:26 – For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens;

Chapter – 53

We all know that in Isaiah chapter 53 and Psalms 22 – it has been explained much about the crucification of Jesus – as a prophecy (hundreds of years back)

The Eunuch was reading Isaiah chapter 53:7,8 when Philip asked him Acts 8:32,33,

>> John has written in the gospel about Jesus and quoted the prophecy from this chapter in John 12:38 (read 35 – 43)

>> Again Paul has taken this verse and quoted in Rom 10:16

>> In this chapter – from verse 1-9, it says about the sufferings Jesus had to bear, and then verse 10-12 says about the happiness and satisfaction Lord got as he obeyed the voice of father.

Jesus was obedient till death – Philip 2:8,9 and Heb 5:8

Verse 1- Isaiah (as said in chapter 6) – Lord says – When you tell the prophecy (message received from God), they will not hear you

>> Just like that – Here Isaiah is telling them about the crucification of their Savior by them, and no one is ready to believe – that’s why –

with a question – Who has believed our report – to him whom the Hand of God is revealed.

>> Today also – the message of cross is foolishness to those (so called children of God) – they don’t want to hear that – that is not giving them any happiness.

1Cor 1:18 - For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Verse 2- Here the tribe and family which Jesus came forth was

Judea – a royal tribe – tribe of King David – but at the time of Jesus – they were so dry and needy

Israel – Nation was once always victors – but now slave to many gentile nations including Egyptian, Persian and now Roman

Verses 3 & 4- He was the only way to salvation but always rejected and despised

>> People walking through that high which passes through Calvary and the people who gathered there to see the crucification only looked once because He was naked, helpless and smashed and His body was striped so badly like a horror image – for you and me – for our happiness.

>> We know all this and remember every Lord Supper but still we are selfish and continue in our old ways – don’t want to change to Holy and Blamless.

Verse 5- repeated in 1 Peter 2:24 - who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

Ps 103:3 - Who forgives all your iniquities,  Who heals all your diseases

Verse 6- We were all lost so to save and redeem us – Jesus paid the price

>> Luke 19:10 - for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

>> To redeem us

>> He was Holy but for our sins – as a sheep to be slaughtered (verse 7)

>> Heb 7:26- For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens

Even today Satan is trying to scatter us and make us go in our own ways rather than obeying Lords counsel and following His footsteps

Verse 7- He was oppressed and afflicted – not because of His sins

·        In verses 4 & 5 we read – it was our sorrows, our sins and our diseases

Verse 11- The price He paid was fruitful because thousands and thousands of people from all generation and nations are being saved through His name – getting free from the clutches of devil and destruction.

So Jesus is satisfied.

Chapter – 54

The redemption of people

Verse 1- You were barren

2 Peter 1:8 - For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ψ Shout out to the Lord – because now you have a Lord and Master who has responsibility over you

Verse 4- Lord says – I will not leave you orphan, unto the end

You are no more a widow

Verse 5 – You were like sheep scattered in the wilderness. But now you have a Lord.

>> The most happiest part is that – Your maker (creator God) has become your husband. You (the church) are the bride of Jesus.

>> The Lord of Host is His name

Verse 6- Your old situation

Chapter – 55

This Salvation belongs to anyone who believes – John 1:12

Rom 1:16 - For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

Verse 1- Now this salvation is open to all

>> No need of your offerings or works but you receive this salvation free

Ψ But only to those who are thirsty

Ψ John 7:37,38 – If any one thirst, let him come to me

>> No price you need to pay because Jesus paid the complete price on Calvary

Verse 2- Why do you try to do things which I have not asked you for.

>> Listen to me carefully and eat (spiritual food) what is good – then your soul will be happy in abundance

Verse 6-  Seek the Lord while He is near you, don’t go far away from Him – into the world

>> Call upon Him while He is near – After He forsakes you – then how much you call – no use

Verse 7- Wicked man (human beings) – forsake your thoughts and come to me.

Verses 8 & 9- God’s thoughts and man’s ways are just the opposite.

Our ways are – how other worldly people do – how satan gives them wisdom – the wisdom of this world

>> But God’s plan’s always just the opposite (just like light and darkness)

>> As the heaven is higher than the earth – beyond our calculations and imaginations

Verses 10 & 11 - >> My word will not go void

>> My plan for you will not go void

God’s word and our obedience to that word – together works out God’s plan

>> It will not return to me void – either Lord’s grace if you obey or Lord’s judgment if you disobey

>> It will accomplish what I desire – not what you desire

>> And will make you prosper (grow) in the thing which I have send you.

Chapter – 56

Verse 1- My salvation is about to come. My righteousness is about to be revealed

>> Prov 19:21 - There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the LORD’s counsel—that will stand

But to the wicked and crooked (in the sight of God) – there is no peace.

Chapter – 58

Verse 1-  Don’t spare anyone, Shout out their wrong doings and sins, tell them where they went wrong.

>> Now a days (people only like praise) – (never say anything which might hurt their feelings) – (don’t be too religious) – (Lord is talking to every one)

Verses 2 - 4- You pray, go for all meetings, observe fasting

>> Still why is the Lord not giving me what I am asking Him

Still not much change – continuing in our heriditerial character.

Verse 5- Is your prayer and fasting for a change, or just for show and some satisfaction.

Verse 6-  But Lord is making it clear that – it is to help you break free from every yoke (bondage) – holding you back from being fully fruitful for the Lord.

Verse 13- On worship day (In OT only Sabbath, but in NT – every day)

Honor God – Not your own ways

Not your own pleasure

Not your own words

Chapter – 59

Verse 1-  Lord’s hand is not shortened, or it is not because God cannot save

>> But because He does not want to save – and when God does not move His hand – it means there is a reason

>> That is what we should ask God

Verse 2-  Because of our sins – god does not want to hear

Verse 9- There No justice, No righteousness, No light

Verse 10- Like blind people, we don’t know what we are doing, we are not going in the right path, but like a blind man – going away from the right path.

Verse 12- Reason – our sins and disobediences are multiplied

>> First it was little but when multiplied- its too big that we can never be reconciled

Eg : 8 * 64 * 4096……..

Verse 13- Lying against God

Departing from God

Verse 17- So let your compromising life (not hot or cold end)

Be covered with zeal

Verse 18- According to their deeds God will repay

Verse 19- And they will fear the name of the Lord

Verse 21- God’s Promise – My spirit which is upon you
My word which I have put in your mouth – shall not or should not depart from you and your descendants

From this time for evemore

Believe in the Lord and His word – His hand is not shortened

Chapter – 60

Verse 1- Through the children of God – the light of God should shine out through the whole world.

>> Then for His children – Jesus is going to come as the light of the world

>> also in Malachi 4:2 – But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves.

>> When the light comes – all darkness should leave our lives now, and when Jesus is going to come as light – no darkness will be there in the world – not even satan.

>> The glory of the Lord shall over shadow you…………………………………

Verse 2- The world is full of darkness, when Christ shines over you

You are going to be the light of the world

>> His glory is going to be seen on you (as on the face of Moses) – only if you spend a lot of God with Holy God

You are the light of the world –

>> Math 5:14-16 -  “You are the light of the world...................Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand ..........  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

>> Philip 2:15,16 - children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world

likewise holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.

The rest of the verses are for Israel only

Verses 15 – Till now you were forsaken and hated

But now I will make you an eternal excellence and a joy to many generations

Verses 19 & 20- In the millennium and in heaven

No more mourning and pain

No more tension, agony and fear

Lord will be your light – No more Sun going down – means No more darkness

Chapter – 61

Verse 1- These verses was a prophecy till Luke 4:17 – 22

>> Jesus read that part, closed the book and gave it back, this prophecy was fulfilled when Jesus came to this world for preaching a Gospel – a New Law – salvation by believing and confessing Jesus.

>> 1 Peter 1:10-12 – about our salvation the prophets many times prophesied eventhough they didn’t know about it or they couldn’t get it.

>> Even Paul says this is the calling upon me – Acts 26:18,19

>> When the anointment of the Lord comes upon me – you will be a new person – 1 Sam 10:6 – then how Paul or Peter or John changed – you will also change and minister for the glory of the Lord – according to His counsel.

Verse 2- The second coming of the Lord in this verse – is not for Gospel but for vengeance – against all the disobedient (among gentiles) and a comfort to Israel (when the whole world turns against them – at the end of the 7 year tribulation.

Ψ Following verse – the happiness of Israelites and the Faithful believers in the millennium

Verse 10- When our bridegroom comes to honor us – that’s when we will be rejoicing – that Messiah has become our redeemer and our own.

Verse 11- Lord will show in front of all the world (all those who made fun of us)

When righteousness and honor of God will be upon us.

>> So paying a price to stand for God is not a waste.

>> If you are ashamed to stand for God – then you will be ashamed on that day

But if you pay the price here – you will be honored then

Rom 8:26 – If we suffer with Jesus – then we will be glorified with Jesus

(It’s a mystery – and very clear – no change and no one can change this law of God)

Chapter – 62

Verse 1- This Jerusalem is isolate, but the new Jerusalem is more than the heavens.

>> Lord is preparing that mansion specially for His bride. For the last – more than 2000 years Jesus is in its work – so how great – never has it come to he hearts of any man.

>> Lord – at His word were all creation and living things created – in a day

But for our eternal Mansion – Royal House – Lord is taking thousands of years – now itself – more than 2000 years.

>> For 1000 years rule also this Jerusalem is going to change – a new earth – after burning the old by fire

>> And for eternity – The new Jerusalem – Rev 21:  ( 2-4) (18 – 23)

Verses 2-5- In New Jerusalem – a new name – a new address – crown – throne – authority – joy

– no problems at all – no tension – fear – darkness – no satan.

Verse 2 -  A new name –

Rev 2 : 17 - “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”

>> They will be honored with white stone, the name on it is a mystery, Lord will change our name and destiny, a heavenly being.

Hephzibah – My delight is in her

      Beulah – Married (now own)

Verse 5 – Lord will be happy because of us – Lord is making us grow to that perfection

So that God should rejoice over you.

Chapter – 63

Verse 1- Edom – The location or direction from which Lord is going to come

Bozrah – The finest garments (Royal)

>> Lord is going to appear in the best of His GLORY and STRENGTH - which the world has never seen.

>> He is the only RIGHTEOUS one and MIGHTY to SAVE

Verse 2- Why is your dress red and feet with blood (as a person who stamps and presses grapes in an ancient winepress, all grapes and juice splashed on his feet)

Verses 3 & 4- Answer – I alone judged the disobedient – in my anger and fury (after a great 2000+ years of grace) – there is also a great tribulation period by the same Jesus.

>> We always take it for granted thinking that – this Jesus is graceful and merciful always and we don’t fear Him or completely obey His counsel, we give importance to many other more serious and important things in our life than Jesus.

>> Now as grace is shown outside – Jesus says – the day of vengeance is in my heart – understand who God is – and fear Him.

Verses 5 & 6- I gave the complete price for the redemption of people, so the judgment also I will do it alone.

Verses 8 & 9- Jesus says – The children who don’t lie – who serve God with a real true heart – without any selfishness (on thinking about their own matters)

>> Surely they are my people or children – and I will be their Savior.

>> Jer 32:38,39 – Those who fear me – they are my people and I will be their God

>> Also in Ezekiel  and Levi 26:11,12

>> 2 Cor 6:14-18 - you should have this separation because you are the temple of the living God.

>> God says –          I will dwell in them,           walk with them,                 I will be their God, they shall be my people

14 – SO - do not be yoked with un-believers – we have our discipline or limitations –

Righteousness (Lord’s ways of discipline) cannot be mixed with Lawlessness (world way of doing things)

God desires to dwell in us – then only God will say – (I will be their God and they will be my people).

Ψ Understand that believers and unbelievers are like light with darkness. Our relationship with them is not that - we become like them, but to make them like us. (As Paul said in Acts 26:29 to King Agrippa and all the royal audience – Paul’s only desire is that – you all should be like me , except this chain)

Ψ Do not do what the unbelievers do because –

>> 1 Cor 3:19 - For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness”

>> 1 Cor 1:19,20 - For it is written: I will destroy the wisdom of the wise….

 >> Ish 55:8,9 - For My thoughts are not your thoughts…..

15 – BELIAL – Hebrew – meaning ‘WORTHLESS”

Also termed as Devil in Hebrew language (a synonym for Satan or Anti-Christ)

>> Lord once again asks us – What part has a believer with an un-believer

Verses 17 & 18 – Therefore Come out from among them and be SEPARATED – say the Lord God Almighty (verse 18)

>> Let nothing unclean (in Lord’s eyes) be in you – then I will receive them (otherwise not)

>> Rom 12:2 – Not conformed to this world….. – acceptable and perfect will of God about you – which is your reasonable service.

>> John 15:18 - If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

>> James 4:4 – Whoever wants to be a friend of the world

>> 1 John 2:15 -  If anyone loves the world…..

>> Heb 7:26 - who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners

>> Eph 5:6-17 –

**       Let no man deceive you with vain promises (which is not in the Bible)

**       Don’t have company with them

**       Only do what is acceptable to God

**       Have no part in the unfruitful works of darkness (all what is not fruitful to the kingdom of God is unfruitful work, don’t waste your time or concentrate on that. (verse 11)

**       All what you do – which is not acceptable to God, He will bring it into light (public) and make you shameful

**       Don’t be fools, be wise – Don’t waste time – redeem your time to be fruitful to your calling

>> Most important – you must have separation from worldly believers – 1 Cor 5:9-11

Don’t even eat with such people (means no fellowship with them at all).

Verse 10- When you rebel (go your way) against the Holy spirit – Then Lord’s fight is against you – you are considered as a devil.

Verses 11 & 12- Don’t forget the old –

Ψ  How God saved us – and brought them out from all troubles

Ψ How God protected you as His flock

Ψ How He sealed you with the Holy Spirit – that is why satan is afraid to touch you, you thought it was because of your worldly contacts.

Ψ God led them by the right hand of Moses (the anointed one to guide His people at that time)

Verse 12- The right hand of Moses became God’s glorious arm – If he raises his hand with anger – plagues.

If he raises for a need – manna or quails or water

If he raises amidst impossible problems – a way is made among the Red sea and in that same way their enemies are doomed.

>> Ish 59:1 - Lord’s hand is not shortened -

>> Ps 63:8 - My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me.

>> Ps 118:15 – 21 - The right hand of the LORD is exalted; The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.

Verse 13- God led them(his children) through the desert as a horse in the wilderness

>> He gave them the strength of an Arabian horse – that is the reason why they did not be tired and in full strength and stamina – they could walk for 40 years continuously day and night

Chapter – 64

Verses 1 & 2- We really don’t know who God is. When great God comes to earth, the mountains will shake and all His creation will boil and shiver, but only this foolish creation – Mankind still doesn’t take it serious that God is great.

>> We say we are so close to God – but why are we not able to really fear Him and give Him all the reverence. If you fear Him, your works should prove that.

Verse 3- You did things which we didn’t thought you would, and whenever you did, all the creation moved sideway for you.

>> In 1 Cor chapt 2 – It is written  Holy spirit reveals the deep things of God.

Verse 4- Only Almighty God Jehovah – the whole world knows that he is a God
- acts for the one who wait for Him

Verse 5- You help those who rejoice in you alone, and remember you always in their ways.

Verse 6-  If you think that all what your doing is righteous, Lord says – your good deeds are like filthy rags in the sight of God.

>> It is not that so called good works (what world terms as good) that God weighs, but the work (which is profitable for the Master) which God tells you to do each day.

>> Rom 3: 10 – 18 – There is no not one who does righteousness or the will of God, all have turned away, no fear of God

Verse 8- But now O Lord, remember that you are our maker, we are just clay.

If we are becoming a different shape from what you want, just smash us (block all our ways) and lead us to a new shape, according to the image of Christ.

Chapter – 65

Verse 1- Jehovah say, when you don’t want me, Among the people who don’t know me, they will cry to me calling in my name and I will be available for them.

>> Here it is said about Jews and gentiles but

>> When we (believers) are not zealous about the matters of God and give more importance to this world, Lord will call and prepare very fast – a group from gentiles who are ready to obey whatever the Lord says.

>> God is not the loser, He will never be, but we are the losers (utter failures) so let us give importance to the great calling that God has called us with.

Verse 2- When we walk in our own ways and our thoughts (what we plan in our heart) – God calls us rebellious

>> Also mentioned many times in Jeremiah

Verse 6- When Israel went according to the system of this world – like how other worldly people do – God says – I will not keep silent – I will repay them.

Verses 8 & 9 – I will not destroy them all – because they is a small elected and faithful group among them.
>> All (Israel-they all call them selves children of God) will not inherit my heavenly eternal promises – only the elected will.

>> Many are not bothered about eternal promises or the destination, they are bothered about the freebies they get on the roadside in this long journey.

Eg : If we are going to see (or we got the whole Mysore palace in our name), but if we keep on stoping on road side and are more attracted to what we get on roadside and during the journey – never can we reach or inherit the palace. The main road is banglore – mysore, when they reach banglore – wow its so wonderful and try to settle there – how will they reach the palace.

Verses 13 & 14 – The elected will be taken up into mid-skies, but the organization and so called Christians – all who will be left behind will be crying and wailing – whereas the elected will be rejoicing with their Savior.

Verse 15- The faithful and chosen will get a different name – the bride of Christ

And the majority or others (here speaking only to Israel) – so this two group is there among Israel – God’s chosen people.

>> Those who don’t get that special name will be killed

>> Look at that great day of judgment – Math 25:31-34

Verse 17- The new sky and new earth is going to be made soon – the old will never be remembered – not a glimpse of it will be there.

>> As the Bible says – this world is reversed to be destroyed by fire

Verses 20-25- These are the things which are going to happen in the Millennium (1000 year rule)

Domestic and wild animal will live together

>> There wont be any blessed or cursed people

>> There wont be young or old

So all these problems are created by satan – and he is going to be bound soon

Chapter – 66

Verses 1 & 2- God will not dwell in any church building or any place (like kumbanad – where majority are belivers)

>> But in all places(even where there are no children of God) – God is there

>> Because he dwell in the heart of those who fear His Holy name – who trembles at His Word.

Verses 8 - 24- It all speaks about the future hope of Zion and Israel
